Protégé was founded in 2020 by parents at the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic as a grassroots community with the simple mission to help our kids continue their learning and development.  Schools were shutdown, extracurricular activities cancelled, outside learning and development for our children essentially put on hold.  Protégé fundamentally changed that.  We developed a supportive grassroots community of Mentors capable of teaching our kids (Proteges) what they wanted and needed to learn in a safe and secure environment – all catered around the busy schedules and lives of parents which is at the core focus of our marketplace – Protégé was built by parents for parents and is maniacally focused on making learning for their kids as easy as possible.

Now our platform includes an expansive catalog across six categories, including Academics, Athletics, Music, Hobbies, Play, & Career Skills all curated to meet the needs and wants of your child AND you as a parent.  With cutting edge technology, we enable our Mentors to handle the burdens traditionally shouldered by parents when coordinating their kid’s extracurricular learning activities – from time constraints, transportation & logistics requirements, and the equipment & materials needed for lessons.

Our aim is to give parents what they want – frictionless and seamless access to and coordination of quality instruction for their children while making it as easy and simple as possible.
